AWAY DAYS

Tuesday's or Thursday when we're not in Youlgrave.

no away days in the near future

The Tuesday Social. 19:00 starting from Alport playing fields, Youlgrave.

The weekly 5 mile social amble usually over the fields. We run as 1 group and take it very easy. In the winter you'll need a head torch and mud friendly footwear

The Thursday session. 19:00 starting from Alport playing fields, Youlgrave.

We rotate between:

Have a look at the calendar below to see what we're doing. You're very welcome to drop in and out depending on what you fancy e.g. want some company or ideas for speed work, just visit us on intervals night etc. There will be just a couple of local Thursday summer evening Fell races that we go to as club. Keep an eye on the calendar.

If we're doing intervals we tend to stay on the field. If we're doing hill work we'll not stray to far, usually in the village. These runs are suitable for all, you can decide how much or how little effort you put in. Because its intervals your pace doesn't matter at no point will you be out of range of everybody else as we stay within an enclosed area or if on hills, we either start from the same place each rep or double back each rep. Open invite..just show up and say hello.

Guided trail runs.

These move around and happen every few weeks. We aim to explore each time Details of these appear on the EVENTS page and dates in the diary are below

We're also a sociable bunch so post run we head to our club HQ...The George Pub.

*visiting runners. You're very welcome to come run with us on club nights just show up on the night and say hello. We regularly do 'Guided Trail runs' where we pre-plan our route to take in the local sites which are also open invite. We believe that going for a run is a fun thing to do not a commercial opportunity so therefore all we ask in return is that if you visit the village it’ll be much appreciated if you pop to the shop, have some lunch in 1 of our fine 3 pubs, grab some cake from the bakery, drop a donation in 1 of the charity boxes.
