Pairs Championships

Pairs Challenge. Thursday 12th September (date has changed)

• Teams are based on fastest person paired with slowest, 2nd fastest with 2nd slowest etc.

• Teams will be decided on the night using the run round the football pitch at your intended race pace method. Anybody deemed to be sandbagging to influence team selection will be penalised. Sandbagging gets a teabagging.

• The Route is the flat 5. The start and finish is opposite HQ, by the church.

• 1 member of the team runs anticlockwise the other clockwise. You can decide who runs in which direction.

• When you meet your teammate on the course you hand over your cone then turn round and head back the way you came.

• The 1st PAIR back is the winning gang.

• If you don't meet your teammate ie the cone is not passed enroute = DQ

• If you lose your cone = DQ

• If you die enroute = DQ

Winning team will receive a Youlgrave Harriers Golden Buff.
